Travels with My Sisters

Only 3,476.83 Kilometres to Go
The Sisterhood is on the move. In fact, we're on fire! Our virtual walk to Montreal to see our brother Randy is underway and our progress is nothing short of remarkable....sort of.

Off To Randy’s House We Go…Maybe?
The above picture is of our brother Randy. Despite an uncanny resemblance to Howdy Doody, we think he is just adorable. Have you ever heard of the saying from the 70's, " Keep on Trucking?" Well this is exactly what the Sisterhood of the Travelling Shoes is going to do. Since we have completed two virtual walks, one along the Cabot Trail and one around the Ring of Kerry, we decided to do one of entirely our own design. Read on faithful follower and see the exciting adventure that we have in store for our next virtual walk.

OOPS! I Left My Heart and My T-shirts in San Francisco
Our San Francisco adventure is nearing its end. We have two days left and the SFSWS (San Francisco Speaking With Strangers) competition is intense. Mag is leading but Kerri is gaining momentum and Shauna's efforts are nothing short of pathetic. Stay tuned folks.

I Can See Clearly Now
Shauna begins the day by waking up, putting on the wrong pair of glasses and freaking out because everything is blurry. Oops! They are Mag's glasses….What a relief! She thought that overnight her eyesight had deteriorated dramatically. This was an honest mistake and easy to understand when put into context because there have been accusations in the past that Shauna was trying to turn Mag into her clone. This is most unfair.

I Left My Heart In San Francisco
You are correct in your observation that the above picture looks as if we are facing a wind machine. It is not an optical illusion. We simply wanted definitive proof that we actually visited San Francisco and we felt that this picture would provide it…..where else would you find a gigantic heart with a picture of the Golden Gate Bridge on it? So there you go! We really were in San Fran.

Having Fun is #1….
Have you ever wanted to just get away? Well, after our mom Betty passed that is exactly what we wanted to do, so we booked a cruise to Alaska! In preparation for our trip, we conferred over packing lists, discussed possible shore expeditions and shared our hopes and dreams for this "magical journey." First and foremost, however, we established the one unwavering theme of this voyage....."Having Fun is Number One!"
