I Love Rock n’ Roll
Little Sis has an encyclopedic memory when it comes to rock and roll music. She can recall the name of just about any song and the artist who sings it. A recent round of musical trivia reminded Big and Middle Sis of this talent and led to the discovery that, although they are related, their tastes in music couldn't be any more different.

Too Much Time On My Hands
Recently I had the misfortune of experiencing an EIE (extreme illness event.) No, it wasn't Covid but to be honest, I am not entirely sure what it was. I can, however, report that it put me out of commission for 5 long days. I was miserable and feeling very sorry for myself. As is often the case when illness strikes, boredom sets in and I was no exception. After doing everything I could possibly think of (ie. reading, daydreaming, staring out the window, singing my favorite songs and even an attempt at meditating) I finally gave in and started scrolling through my phone.

🎵Celebrate Good Times…C’mon🎵
It is well known that the Sisterhood loves a celebration so, in these last waning days of winter we thought it might be fun to design events that would give us both something to look forward to and be proud of. We are of course not only creative but patriotic, and can definitely see a future where Canadians near and far would enthusiastically celebrate our suggested national holidays.....If only we knew how to take them to the next level😉 But that's a story for another day. Please read on.

Communication Breakdown
Do you ever wonder what would what would happen if the World Wide Web went dark, and for some strange reason you could no longer write with your dominant hand? How on earth would we be able to communicate? No worries, the Sisterhood is here to save the day.

Biscuit’s NBF
Note: NBF is short for New Best Friend...or is it New Boy Friend? Biscuit is a very sociable canine. She makes friends easily and not long ago she was introduced to Sir Quachi, a Maltese mix from Mexico. There was immediate chemistry (could this possibly be a romantic situation?)

As The World Spins
Due to the nature of my husband's job we've moved often- thirteen times to be exact. This meant we did not spend a lot of time living in any one house. Fast forward to retirement and the house we have now lived in for thirteen years. A record for us by far. And while staying in a house this long has brought us comfort and ease, there have also been a few surprises of the maintenance variety.

Biscuit the Influencer
Biscuit here. Becoming a member of the Sisterhood of The Travelling Shoes has changed my life. Never in my wildest puppy dreams did I think I would ever become a “thing.” At best I thought I would be just a happy dog living out my days laying in the sunshine, chasing my tail, and getting treats for being a good girl! But boy was I wrong – it has turned out to be quite a ride! So, I’d like to give you a glimpse into my journey in becoming a social media influencer. Members Only I was honored when I was asked to join the Sisterhood, but quite frankly I…

What Color Is Your Binder?
What do three sisters, one in her fifties, one in her sixties and one in her seventies talk about when they get together? All the usual stuff - what new medications we're on, the price of hearing aid batteries, the silly things millennials do, and recently, organizing our "affairs." And after recognizing that we aren't getting any younger, our thoughts naturally turned to what we affectionately refer to as "the green binder", which is where our father had his estate organized right down to the last detail. Its been several years since the green binder has been opened, but its legacy lives on for each sister in a different way.

Saturdays With the Sisterhood
Once upon a time, there were three sisters affectionately known as.........."The Sisterhood." Theirs is a long standing relationship, having been acquainted with each other since the birth of Little Sis in 1965. It is a connection that is unbreakable and as you can see, on occasion they even dress alike. More importantly, they are united in a dedication to honor their late mother, Betty. Hence the creation of this blog and their Instagram account titled "Betty Would Love That," because they sincerely hope that Betty would in fact, love what they are doing.
