Gimme Shelter
I have always been a dog person. My dog Biscuit, an honorary member of the Sisterhood, and I thought it might be a good idea to write a post about dogs I have known and loved.

Ties That Bind(er)
Today is Valentine's Day, so I'm sure you're expecting me to write about all things love, and I am, just from a different perspective than you might ordinarily think about.

Thinking While Drinking…
Although it's entirely possible that one might assume alcohol plays a major part in our conversations, the Sisterhood is in fact, a serious and sober entity. Granted, there have been a few occasions where we have enjoyed spirited (pun intended) and creative discussions on unusual topics, some of which are obscure and others that are just plain silly. We usually end up laughing and enjoying ourselves immensely.

Only 3,476.83 Kilometres to Go
The Sisterhood is on the move. In fact, we're on fire! Our virtual walk to Montreal to see our brother Randy is underway and our progress is nothing short of remarkable....sort of.

A Puzzling Situation
I have never really been interested in puzzles, (the kind that come in boxes that is) mainly because I am keenly aware of my inability to complete them without a struggle. Anything over 50 pieces is just too much to deal with. I have learned to live with my affliction, preferring to dwell on my creative skills.

We Are Family
With Christmas as the main event, it seemed like a natural fit to choose "family" as our word of the month for December. Even though COVID continued to make things challenging, the Sisterhood looked forward to the holiday season.

You Light Up My Life
As Clark Griswold so aptly illustrated in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, one can never adorn their house with too many lights. When it comes to Christmas there is no such thing as an "excess of illumination." After all, what would Christmas be with out them? With that in mind, the Sisterhood recently spent time reminiscing about lights from their Christmas' past.

You Have to Walk Before You Can Run
Once upon a time, long long ago in a land far away (actually in a lounge in a Saskatoon hotel), three smart, sassy sisters made a bold, life-altering decision. It is a story of epic proportion.

Try A Little Kindness
When we chose kindness as our word of the month for November, I remember thinking there would be lots to write about and the words would flow easily. After all, we Sisters are kind people and were raised by one of the kindest people ever – our mom Betty. But when it came time to sit down and start formulating what I was going to write, I kept getting stuck. What’s the Plan Stan? I love the concept of random acts of kindness and always feel incredibly uplifted when I am able to perform one. So why was I struggling so much to write about it? What I figured out…

Have You Tried Turning It Off and On?
Unlike our kids and grandkids, the Sisterhood can occasionally be overwhelmed by today’s technology. After all, we grew up with land line phones, black and white televisions and cameras that required film and a few days processing before the eagerly awaited photos were ready for pickup. While we do consider ourselves reasonably “technologically adept,” we occasionally (our kids might use the word often…) need just a teensy bit of help figuring things out. And, as Middle Sis’ adventures below illustrate, we sometimes have difficulty discerning exactly when we need that help. If I Had A Hammer Recently my husband started having trouble with his phone – emails going missing, texts…
